Homework Palette is a native iPhone and iPad app for grades 1–6. The full library stays free; only in-app quizzes require a subscription.

Free library

Open every grade, every pack, and every question. Search by topic, print the worksheet and answer key, or copy a pack into the Builder to edit.

Worksheet builder

Create custom homework with multiple choice, fill-in, matching, drag-and-drop, and true/false. Attach photos and record your own voice on any question.

Read aloud

English uses on-device speech. Built-in Khmer uses offline audio bundled in the app. Your recordings play back instantly — no internet required.

Print & share

Generate a PDF worksheet or answer key from any pack. Share worksheets with a code or post to the optional community through Apple iCloud.

Privacy policy

Homework Palette is designed so children can practice without creating an account. This policy describes what stays on your device and what leaves it.

Summary

We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party analytics. Homework Palette does not collect personal information on our servers. Optional information you enter (such as a child's name) and all quiz scores, custom worksheets, and voice recordings are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.

You can delete this data by removing the app from your device.

Information sent through Apple services

Subscriptions — Purchases and restores are processed by Apple. We receive only subscription status through StoreKit, not your payment details.
Community sharing (optional) — If you choose to share a worksheet with a friend or post publicly, that worksheet is stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit). We do not operate separate servers for shared content.
Read aloud — Built-in Khmer audio is bundled in the app. English uses Apple's on-device speech. Custom voice recordings stay on your device unless you share the worksheet.
Optional lesson captions — Only if you enter a subtitle server URL in Record settings (off by default). Audio may be sent to that server you configure; we do not operate a default caption service.

Permissions

Photo library — Only when you attach a photo to a worksheet option. Photos are stored in the worksheet on your device.
Microphone — When you record voice for a custom worksheet, or narrate a teaching video. Audio stays on your device unless you share or enable an optional caption server.
Camera — Only for the optional face window while recording a teaching lesson of the app.
Screen recording — Used to capture this app’s screen for a teaching video (ReplayKit). Videos stay on your device until you share them.
Notifications — Optional local alert when a teaching video finishes combining after you stop recording.

Children

Homework Palette does not create child accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers. Parents control subscriptions through a parental gate and Apple's subscription settings.

Tracking

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app declares no tracking in its privacy manifest.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The latest version will always be published at this URL.
